Curry ville is absolutely next level! We moved from the UK two years ago and have really struggled to find an Indian which stands up to those back home.We ordered the fantastic prawn curry – full of flavour, not overpowered by prawn. Chicken tikka – insanely amazing flavour! Both so different from each other (often I have ordered different curries and found the sauce base to be almost exactly the same flavour). There is no fuss in the restaurant, they focus entirely on the quality of food. I found the atmosphere was great, relaxing and we were able to enjoy our meals in peace. We were really happy and will be back time and time again! The ONLY complaint I have is they dont offer delivery – we all love to eat a curry at home so please please offer this service haha!
We were so looking forward to trying some amazing quality food after finding out this Indian restaurant was one of the best in QLD. But sadly after 45 minutes wait to get a take-away (20 minutes longer than promised) we were so disappointed with the food – The chicken breast pieces were dry and just thrown in the sauce at the last minute;- Both sauces were flooded with oil and were not pleasant to eat;- The naan was dry and not flaky more like pita bread than a naan.- Papadums were oily and wet in the middle. No comparison to Indian curries we got in the UK!Maybe we would have had a better experience on a week night when the restaurant wasnt flooding with take-away orders. There was no love on the plate thats for sure…
Warm and welcoming. Feels like you are at a loving family members house for a delicious, comforting meal. Service was excellent and food to match. From one chef to another; GREAT FOOD!
Hands down the best curry I have ever had. The lamb saagwala is absolutely on point, Curryville has this dish down to a fine art, made fresh with the perfect amount of spice, it’s like a party in my mouth. We are now weekly regulars, I can smell their gorgeous curries from streets away! My only gripe is that the naan bread can be hit and miss – I usually order cheese and spinach naan but this can sometimes come dry and lacking spinach/cheese filling; this however I am willing to forgive for their consistent quality on a range of their curries.- Tyson & Kristy
We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food served here. Lots of Indian places are hit and miss but Curryvilles food has an incredible depth of flavour. Dont be fooled by the majority white Australian clientele, the food here is definitely authentic – take it from an Indian girl. Theres a plethora of Indian places around here but Curryville is definitely our local and where we keep returning.
Read alot of good reviews so I was excited about this place. However, past reviews seemed overhyped. Ordered a veg samosa chat which didnt really fill a description for what a chat is. Came with two samosas jz drenched in sauces. This is definitely not what a chat is although the samosas were decent. Ordered an eggplant curry w naan for main. What was served was clearly not a tandoor cooked naan. Very flat and dense and did not have the airy air pockets of a naan. For $5 its false advertising. Eggplant curry was very underseasoned. Asked for some salt and the server mentioned they dont use any salt in their cooking, just spices. No indian cook or chef I know does that. And please dont say its healthier when the curry is laced with quite abit of oil. After adding the smallest but of salt the curry tasted much better but again, for $24 this was not worth it.This place also claims that one will not leave with the bloated feeling of a typical Indian restaurant. Again this needs to be revised as both of us didnt have a good nights sleep with a greasy, bloated feelingOverall this place was quite dissappointing for the price. Needs much more work to live up to the hype.
Great fresh food the goat curry is awesome and the mango chicken is everything it is said to be tender chicken is o lovely mango sauce The Service is friendly and helpful This is the best fresh curry place out
