This is our go to local fish and chip shop. The daily specials are exceptional value with the fish of the day, 2 salads and chips. The fish is always cooked perfectly. It’s also one of the best fresh seafood shops in the area with the best quality seafood.
Worst service ever. Here is a synopsis of my customer experience at Fish Factory:1. The customer service assistant refused to take my phone order because the system was down. I was perplexed why my order could not simply be written down2. So I went to make my order in person but was told to join a queue to order at the fresh seafood counter (even though no one was waiting at the cafe counter3. Whilst waiting in the queue the same assistant started serving new walk ins (as I waited)4. Whilst my order cooked I noticed the same customer service assistant took a phone order (And wrote said order on paper )5. My order did not have tartare sauce, chicken salt or garlic butter on the grilled barra Overall BIG FAIL
Just had Oysters from here, they where terrible. The Barramundi was also not good.Sort it out.I have been coming here for years, can’t believe you are losing your touch
Whenever I’m on holiday I splash out on seafood and this is the only place to go. The quality is great and there’s quite the variety to choose from and a lot of it sourced from Australia or New Zealand. Super excited to discover that they sell squid ink pasta and squid ink it self!
Ordered takeaway fish and chips. I had crumbed snapper and chips. The fish was tender and delicious and the chips were better than average. I would also recommend their salmon and tiger prawns for cooking at home.
—-18 Dec, 2015—-We had take-away from here tonight and it was really delicious. I had grilled snapper with salad. The snapper was cooked perfectly with some fresh dill over the top. The salads were garden and coleslaw. Both were nice and quite fresh. The place was packed with people and it did take a while for the order to be made up but it was worth the wait. —- 8 Oct, 2011 —-This is the best place for fresh seafood the area in my opinion. We always buy fish to cook at home but the cooked food looks good too and the salads seem fresh.
Love the variety of seafoods they have on offer here and you can buy them fresh or frozen. Had the ‘Mixed grill for one’ and it came with delicious moreton bay bugs. Will be one of my go-to seafood joints. The prices are a bit high for many of the items but willing to pay anyway.
