The restaurant looks outdated and could use a good clean. When you walk in there is a please wait to be seated sign but it seems no one pays any attention leaving you standing there looking a bit silly. When we were being seated they didn’t bother asking us wether we would like a drink. It then took about 7 minutes before we finally got served, but not after needing to call the non observant waitress first. After ordering we noticed multiple tables that came in after us getting their food before us, while we where only a party of 2.The food: We both ordered the chicken breast stuffed with scallops, prawns, bacon and chilli. When it arrived about 30 minutes later the chicken was overcooked, the seafood was not present and the bacon didn’t show its face either. Its very sad if you pay $72,- for some drinks and mains, walk out still hungry and when the best thing on your plate were the vegetables…And when we were ready to complain at the register, the girl didn’t even ask us how everything had been so we didn’t really get an opportunity. All in all a very disappointing experience, we probably should’ve stuck to the good old parmie and chips…

I am only rating for lunch.Very good value ($8.45-$9.45), and quite tasty, with your choice of 3 meals with roast vegetables. Servings are generous, and quick service if you need to duck in for lunch. It takes some experience to identify which you prefer, but great on a budget.I would have rated higher, except for the ridiculous $25 minimum for EFTPOS. I am not sure what the thinking is, but I’m not going to order $16 of drinks to buy lunch, or pay $2+ to withdraw from the automated teller. Pay-pass is quicker then cash, and there is no need for this slap in the face. I could understand it when they are packed at night over the weekend, but why lunch? Dime store thinking IMHO.

Please change your menu! Why is everything on it wrapped in bacon or prosciutto? Keep it simple with good flavours-How hard is it to make good pub food? I had chicken scallopini last night and it was horrible! Carrots were raw, the sauce just tasted like straight cream with no flavour whatsoever, I only ate it because I was starving. Such a shame because we would come here a lot if more effort was put into the food.

Stopped in for lunch Sunday 14th June nice atmosphere obviously the flood caused some problems with the flooring I would advise to just polish the cement, back to the food standard pub food usually inflated prices for Brisbane My fillet steak was very good nice sauce usual salad mix 1 piece of tomato 2 bits of cucumber and red onion not bad but not good so predictable my partner had the trout he enjoyed it but it was overcooked nice plates and table settings pleasant staff

Another Pub meal. Have stayed there with work, had the buffet breakfast, and it OK a pretty basic selection, Cereal, fruit, toast and a few hot selections, the old lady is lovely who does the breakfast service. Was passing by today and dropped in for lunch, perfectly acceptable pub meal but a teeny bit pricey, but not outrageous. I feel that this pub has a bit of an identity crisis, I don’t know if it wants to be be an upmarket Pub (needs a bit of maintenance done, looking very tired) or a 4 star hotel with a restaurant attached????? The one thing that amused me is that there was four managers walking around looking self important and two people running the bar and the food. So in Summary, its an OK pub feed but don’t go out of your way to get there.
