The thing we like about the Colmslie is that it presents lots of options. You can head there for a cheap bistro-style roast lunch, drinks and game of pool, or even a semi-formal dinner. Theyre trying and for the most part, succeeding. Their roast lunches are hugeand much loved by our Nana. Most recently we went here for a Christmas work lunch and everyone enjoyed their meals. One of the more unique dishes was their roast duck and lychee salad which was surprisingly delightful. The service is always fast and pleasant. While it’s not going to knock your socks off, it’s quality pub-style food.
Nice ambience and layout, food was ok – steak undercooked a little. Pretty standard pub lunch meals available in the beer garden area. Service was pleasant and timely.Be wary of the buffet – veggies arent cooked very well or to taste
