I get take away from here regularly. I definitely think it’s the best Thai in the local area. Generous with meat and veg in their curries and stir-fries. Great flavours and perfect amount of spice
We had a mixed entree, chicken satay entree, a chicken pad Thai and a veg noodle dish. The best thing was the chicken satay and even that seemed a little too processed. The mixed entree of; calamari, prawn, curry puff, fish cake etc..was the same sort of standard you would get in a supermarket mixed frozen box. The pad Thai was passable but too sweet and had almost no veg. The tofu veg noodle dish had a burnt taste (I think it was supposed to be smokey but it went that bit too far)and the tofu seemed a very cheap quality and was bland. I would give them one more try with other dishes because I find it unfair to judge by just one experience but I wouldn’t order any of these dishes again. Sorry.
Very very rude people I am extremely disappointed very very rude and so DISSAPOINTING . We have used them many times but tonight they were so rude I they end they ripped us off and were not prepared to pay back the money they owed us !
Came here on a quiet Tuesday night with a friend. Very dead, only 1 other table beside ours. Got seated quickly and menus brought out to us. They have a very extensive menu with a lot of favourites and a few dishes I had no idea what they were about. We settled for the curry puffs and fish cakes as entre, a green chicken curry and fried fish fillets with lemon sauce and a black sticky rice for dessert.Sorry about the pictures as we were starving! The waitress brought our drinks and a plate of free prawn crackers. Our entres followed shortly after. The curry puffs were probably the best ones I have ever had in the whole of Brisbane. They were crisp on the outside and mushy on the inside. The thing I hated about curry puffs in the past was the filling. It was either too sweet or too savoury. This place definitely had the flavours right. It was a light hint of sweetness packed with a lot of punch. Absolutely loved the curry puffs! Their fish cake wasnt anything amazing. Was a bit dry actually. The dipping sauce was good however. It had quite a bit of flavour to it.The curry was fantastic. Flavour was good. Not too spicy. Although the meat was a bit dry and over cooked. The fish was nothing special. Tasted like fish bites from a seafood shop. The lemon dip was a bit too over empowering. The black sticky rice was good. Albeit a bit too sweet for my liking. It was a good texture and had a good mouth feel. Their coconut rice is an absolute must. A slight hint of sweetness which blended well with the curry dish.Over all it was a good meal. We even had enough for left overs. Total dollars soent between 2 : $82.50
As my local Thai, I have had many a meal hear both takeaway and dine in. The decor and setting is as would be expected of a suburban Thai place, but the food is excellent. More often then not I go takeaway and dine in front of the tv
I’ve had takeaway from here before and while it was good, I wasn’t overly impessed – but then I tried the recommendations. Wow. My husband who ‘doesn’t like Thai’ suddenly likes Thai. Absolutely delicious. Try the roasted duck and gourmet chicken.
I dined here in a group of five on a busy Saturday evening. It was busier than usual in the dining room and the take away service was also busy. Service was a little disorganised with the wrong meal coming out to one member of our group, and another member of our group waiting for much longer for their meal than the rest of the group. Gripes aside, the food is always delicious. I have attached photos of the grilled prawns and stir fried vegetables with basil. We still come back and it’s a favourite of mine for takeaway.
