I broughtyour desserts(pear tart and tiramisu) for my dad’s afternoon tea while he is staying at the hospital. My dad said it is very delicious. He likes both desserts very much and enjoys every bite. This has made dad’s good days. Thank youvery much Moro Rosticceria. I wish you could deliver to the city so I could enjoy yummy Italian food for lunch at work.
Tasty authentic wholesome Italian food and warm friendly service. Have eaten here twice now and will be going back! Gem of a local restaurant – please support local businesses like this. Dine in or take away available and the meal portions are generous to say the least. Have thoroughly enjoyed the braised veal shanks, lasagne, spaghetti and meatballs as well as the chicken cacciatore. The desserts are lovely also (apple strawberry tart – yum).
By far the best Italian restaurant we have been to in Brisbane. The flavours of all their dishes are so authentic. And their prices are fantastic. If you are looking for great Italian food on the south side of Brisbane, this is the place to go.
The first time I went here I had the vegetable fritters which really did remind me of fritters that mama used to make. The gnocchi Neapolitana was good and the pumpkin, ricotta and walnut ravioli was fantastic. It had a lovely creamy sauce with a gentle touch of sage. However, on return I had the spaghetti marinara which was awful. The sauce was apparently seafood stock. It may have been thickened slightly with cornflour. It was really very salty. It was about $28 so very overpriced considering the cheap decor, service level and suburban environment. The waiter was busy and didnt ask whether we were happy with our meals so we paid, left and probably wont return.
This unassuming little eatery serves a range of delicious home made Italian food – pasta, meat and fish, with lovely salads and vegetables. We stopped by for lunch and thought that the pork sausage rolls were amazing and then had dinner with a group of friends. The house made desserts are made with love and care. This is a really good value option if you like to eat Italian food. The friendly owner Michele used to be the executive chef at Dell’Ugo New Farm!!
