Awesome and fresh banh mi for just $5.50 – ingredients are fresh, good amount of chilli and made fresh as you wait. Havent tried anything else but its a 5 from me just for the banh mi.

Cheap as chips freshly made Bahn Mi at $5.00. I used to go all the way into West End or Sunnybank. But now that I know this little gem is so close I’ll be frequenting more often. Like daily

Very disappointing experience at S&C Hot Bread.Went with a Steak & Potato Pie and a Donut Twist. The staff assured me that the pie was very fresh and had only been in the case a short while despite the potato atop the pie being dry and cracked. First bite and it was clear this had been sitting there for hours. This rated a 1.I mentioned this to the staff and was once again told that it was fresh – no refund. The donut twist was soft and sweet, but didn’t have much flavour. This rated 2.5-3.Was advised that they no longer bake most of the items on their menu – clearly a failing business.

Wow! This place was a revelation. Banh Mi freshly made with extra chilli and warmed up for $5! Then we spotted what looked like home made macarons. I’m not a big fan as they generally seem too sweet but these were the best I have ever had and we bought a pack of 9 for $10! R U Serious! I have seen smaller ones in the CBD for $2-50 each. We have been living nearby for years but never discovered this place. It’s a couple of kms from Oxford St Bulimba but it’s from another planet called delicious and value!
