Went here for dinner a few days after Christmas, in hindsight not a good time to go, there were two staff there and the meals appeared to be makeshift – a beef madras and lamb biriyani. Meat was tough in the madras and dry in the biriyani. I felt for the young lady who served us, I had to let her know about the standard of the meals and she was apologetic.
We’ve been a few times for the Friday and Saturday night buffet, which at $20 per head is really good value for money. The curries are too a bit too mild for our taste (more suited to the Australian palate) and we don’t think that they are cooking the tandoori chicken and naan in the tandoor oven any more. We probably won’t go back again!
Great Indian food. The interior is pretty basic but we get takeaway so it didn’t really bother us. It comes with free rice and isn’t nearly as oily as the other FOUR Indian restaurants nearby. The owners are lovely and the cricket is almost always on while you’re waiting! Standout dishes are Chicken Korma and Lamb Rogan Josh. The garlic naan is super addictive. We’ve decided to only get one between us now as they are so big! Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.
