Good little cafe in morning side offering freshly cooked typical cafe meals. I was with a colleague who ate the food who said it was delicious , the counter staff were friendly and professional. The food came out in pretty timely manner. I was advised by my colleague (who is a regular ) that everything was great !!
Heard a couple of rave reviews, but was highly disappointed. My heart sunk at Merlo. Friendly staff scored the two points, but the coffee was undrinkable and the menu confused at best, so decided not to order food. Just another coffee shop in a small outdated shopping centre
Had actually visited this caf before on an earlier occasion when it had different owners. Thanks to Ron I now know it has changed owners. Noticed the original couch was sitting in the corner though, but other than that a few other changes of course, one being the push bike mounted on the wall!The new owner seemed very obliging & fun. Only had time for a quick flat white which was good reliable Merlo. Came out pretty strong, but I only had three quarter milk
