Went past this cafe when I explored the Chatterbox @ Mt Gravatt Plaza yesterday that recalled my visit at this place quite a while ago. Remembered that I was tempted Tony the Merlo signage to give it a go. In addition, I also ordered a slice of banana bread. Well, the coffee was under my expectation not due to the absence of any latte art but the strength was too weak for me. On the other hand, my banana bread was over toasted. No wonder I found that its business seemed to go downhill and it was very quiet yesterday morning.
Quite a nice little cafe. They serve Merlo coffee and fresh, leaf tea as one would hope. The pancakes were light, fluffy and drowning in maple syrup and ice cream. I wasn’t expecting much , but this place was very pleasant.
