I go here every couple of weeks and pick up a couple of servings of the Taiwanese Chicken Bites.I have only had one thing from the menu, but i love the chicken bites, so i’m not even sorry!Very flavoursome, succulent pieces of chicken which are great for a snack when you are in the shopping centre and you need a quick tasty fix!
The Milk Tea with Pearls did not suit our taste so I tried the recommended Californian Sunshine! It tasted of pineapple and passion fruit and came with mixed agar. I quite liked this drink but Phuong Tran said there was a light bitter aftertaste so I finished off the drink. This interesting beverage bar also serves Taiwanese Fried Chicken, Battered Sweet Potato Chips and other deep fried goodies. I guess we wont know (if its yummy) until we give it a go.
When I stepped in the 8 Street of Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre, first stall on the left located this eatery. By the look of it, it seemed to serve something like the Hot Star Large Fried Chicken. However, there were many different varieties on their menu with additional serving of bubble tea. I had fried chicken many times but I never had any fried dessert such as the fried coconut milk that they offered so gave it a go with extra order of a large grapefruit honey tea with aloe Vera and mango balls. First of all, the fried coconut milk did not let me down. It was crispy with sweet coconut milk inside. Loved the tea as well, particularly the mango balls that bursted in my mouth that gave me a lot of fun.
Boxing day, and just a quick visit to look for some lights. We passed this place as the name got out attention boba chicken. Locsted in the 8 street area. Wife wanted bubble tea and ordered a side of fried chicken and sweet potato chips.Ordering is simple, get your ticket and wait.Chicken is severed in a paper bag with a skewer to eat, same with sweet potato chips. Chicken is ok, nice and hot, nice flavour. The chips, were sweet from the sugar coating after frying. A little top sweet. Tea was nice and refreshing. There is a big piece of fried chicken for about $9, I think similar to Sunnybank one.
