Was surprised to see this new bakery just outside of Coles at the Mt Ommaney Shopping Precinct. It has been a while since I was here & there are a number of new eateries to try out. This one caught my eye as there was such a great selection from which to choose. I have to admit it was a difficult decision as everything looked amazing. Ended up with an apple & cinnamon scroll, which turned out to be light in texture, huge in size & chock full of delicious apple chunks.
We usually love this place. In the past the pies have been flavourful and huge, the pastrys also full of filling and tasty. Unfortunately today the pies werent upto the same standard, not sure what has changed but would highly recommend changing back, still massive but not tasty, strange after taste. Hopefully a one off. Unfortunately the apple turn over had no custard as promised and the pastry wasnt cooked on the bottom (thick and hard). Would try again and hope for quality to return as the staff are lovely .
