Ordered Laksa. Was bland and milky. We asked if we could have extra coriander. They said they didn’t have any. We then showed them the coriander in the laksa. Still insisted that they didn’t have any. We kept pushing and finally they said they had some but would give us some extra coriander for an extra charge. Service was nothing specialTofu Tod was nice and stir fry tofu was fine. I would not come back
In order to make a good comparison, over the years I have made a conscious effort to order the same dish, Chicken Pad Sei Eaw, from every Thai restaurant I’ve been to: from numerous places on the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane, to Sydney to Melbourne to Tokyo to Bangkok. Consistent in taste, service and perfect balance of meat, vegetables and noodles. Without a doubt I have yet to find a place that makes Chicken Pad Sei Eaw as tasty and balanced as Nambour’s Thai Connextions.
It was ok. Service was very good although took a little while to get food despite the restaurant being empty. food was kind of bland overall I will try again but not the best Thai food I have had.
Nice. Went there for the first time for my graduation dinner.Meals were served very quickly & were very nice.Friendly staff.Beware even though it’s BYO, you have to pay an extra $2 per drink per person if you bring your own wine..
