Do it. It’s damn good. I can’t go without stopping by at least once a week. You know it’s bad… good? When the staff knows your name. Usually get the medium or large sized beef and lamb HSP and holy trinity sauce with extra garlic sauce. So yum~Tried the Iskender, which was a new item on their menu after the restaurant opened…. and it’s amazing. Toasted Turkish bread base, topped with your choice of meat (we got beef and lamb) and drizzled over with special tomato and creamy garlic yoghurt sauce and fresh parsley. So good.On the bosses (Frank) recommendation I tried the rice pudding for dessert. Very skeptical at first because I haven’t liked any rice puddings before. BUT. Thanks Frank for convincing me because it was worth it. Smooth, sweet, creamy and rich rice pudding custard with vanilla ice cream accompanied.

Yummiest vegetarian HSP in Brisbane!I live on Northside but it’s worth the drive, just to indulge in some quality HSP. Lots of sauce, melted cheese and fresh chips. The best part is the fresh crispy falafel! Not to mention the super friendly service!!

Didn’t enjoy the food at all. Couldn’t eat it as the chicken was very dry and tough. Chips were very soggy and the only thing close to edible was the cheese. There was plenty of that, but they drowned it with cheap sauce. The price is extreme when you consider what they give you.The music is very annoying, constant doof doof.Children with no taste buds welcome, adults go elsewhere.

The food is not to the authentic style. The music is for the child and each meal is too slow. The attitude from the owner is not in the Turkish tradition of restaurant. My experience here is very poor.

I went here several months ago and reviewed them.Someone called Fatih Bozkurt replied to me with the most vicious insults, accusing me of being an online troll so I withdrew the review and resolved to go back again to see if I was mistaken. Thanks very much for the kind words Fatih. I went again and tried the Snack Pack and still can’t see that it is a gourmet offering, as they repeatedly and loudly proclaim with their massive face book self promos. Fatih, I notice you have placed a review loudly praising Istanbul Eats. What gives there? Perhaps you are the owner in disguise? The Snack Pack is a rather tepid mix of Chips, Chicken, Cheese and off the shelf sauces. No guarantee as to how long the meat has spent un refrigerated. Maybe after a night out on the turps you might think it’s a good feed but not at 6 o’clock in the evening. Bogan tucker and not cheap either.

I know I arrived at probably the busiest time but wasn’t warned the wait would be 45 minutes. My first HSP and it was a little disappointing, just a shitload of sauce on some kebab meat and soggy chips. They had some arcade style electronic doof music on repeat playing out of a strobing jukebox speaker. Just throw the hottest 100 on or turn it off.Overall a pretty dismal experience compared to the the 5 star score it has on Facebook. It was bloody hard to find and the wait was painful. Meh

Picked the son up from uni and noticed the food truck. We tried the snack pack which is basically a bed of chips, chicken then covered in cheese and then topped with all manner of bottled sauces. Chicken dry as an old boot so I couldn’t eat it.Maybe they just had a bad day but I wasn’t impressed with the food.
