OLD HONG KING KITCHEN in Nerang Queensland.  Chinese – Thai – Malaysian Restaurant.  Open 7 nights 5 – 9pm.  Family owned and operated small restaurant.  Dine in from al-a-carte menu or takeaway.  BYO – No Corkage Fee.  No Public Holiday Surcharge.  Booking Preferred as it is a small restaurant.  At the moment for dine in customers only all al-a-carte selections are half price.  For a large serve you will pay $10 – $12 50 per plate.  Seafood and Duck selections are more expensive.  For takaway Medium choices range between $7 – $10, Large choices range between $13.50 – $18.  When it first opened it was  All you can Eat but that is no longer available.  It’s al-a-carte or takaway only.  The place is very clean and the food is always cooked fresh, the service is efficient and generally fast.  They also have Family Pack and Special packs for Dine in and Takaway.  Tonight I paid $2.50 for a bowl of Wanton Dumpling Soup.  I then had a large plate of Fried Rice  with Beef and Cashew for $11.  If that is not good value for a fantastic bowl of soup and a meal then I don’t know what is value for money.
