Extremely reasonable fish and chip place. Simple, fresh fish and chips that taste great within minutes walk to New Farm park. I’ll definitely be back.
Been there several times, its goof for finding crispy food ! Also they serve a lot chips! If you looking for milkshake, its recommended too try milkshake 🙂
Best fish and chips in town! Burgers are great to. I actually eat here at least once a week now and its located right across from the new farm park.
I asked if the grilled fish was coated in flour and was told no flour. Turns out it’s coated on both sides with thick flour and I’m gluten intolerant so I couldn’t eat any of the fish. My friend said it tasted nice though. The chips were ok, nothing special. At least it’s near a nice park.
Fish & chips , burgers & all your favourite deep fried seafood friends . Nemo’s mates are all there. The food is fine. Fish & chips are a rare treat, so they always bring back memories of being a kid again. We also had a bacon & egg roll. They certainly didn’t skimp out on the bacon & roll was fresh. The definate highlight. The store itself is fine & comfortable enough, I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t take the 3 meter walk to in sit in one of Brisbane’s most beautiful parks across the road. The fish is poorly cooked, dry & pretty unappetizing overall. The sea scallops were like those little rubber balls you probably had as a child that bounce wildly out of control…. Seperate to the fish cafe, I bought a Lipton raspberry ice tea from the drinks fridge, be warned, It was disgusting (shouldn’t have been surprised).
Dropped the ball..The first time we ordered the barramundi and chips with a side of calamari. Fish was a good decent size and all tasted delicious.Next time we ordered barramundi and chips to find the fish was half the size and unfortunately not as nice. Will have to try this place again to decide if it’s worth going back. Can get very busy.
Good size portions – chips could be crispier Friendly staff & fantastic milkshakesThis is a really good local fish shop! We go there weekly
