iWanted to love it. They don’t make chicken and mushroom pies, that’s fine. Ordered the roast chicken pie. It would have been great if salt/flavour were added. Pastry wasn’t so bad- great lid, mushy bottom. Partner got a cow pie we- both agree that a little salt goes a long way.Staff and sweet cabinets were on point. Add a little salt and I’ll add a few more points. once again, staff make me return

Can’t work out the negative reviews here – it’s a bakery guys! Not a 5 Star hotel! Awesome pies and sandwiches. I haven’t tried the coffee so this one’s all about those pies. The chilli has REAL kick!

The worst sausage roll Ive ever had. So I tried a pie and it was the worst pie ive ever had. I dont know how you can screw up two of the staples of australian cuisine.. but you can. I dont think i could make a drier, blander pie if I tried. Honestly.. i am in shock. And they were like 10 bucks.

I’m not sure why this place doesn’t have a higher rating (?). It sounds like some items may be amazing & others not so. There seems to be trends in the negative reviews ie/ sausage rolls & pies (which are important to any bakery, but I’m generally unlikely to order).I always get the sandwiches or quiche. The sandwiches in particular are great. They are a bit expensive, but I ended up eating mine over two sittings . The chicken, Rueban & even egg salad were great. The service by weekday staff in particular is a highlight. There is a young , tall, skinny guy who works there who could not possibly be any nicer.Been again this morning, always pleasant.

all four times i have tried their pies/sausage rolls, it’s been disappointing. the service is good, and the decor is nice, but all their pastries just taste like bland peppery mush. probably won’t go back unless they change it up.

I don’t normally write reviews as I use this app for work. But I needed to write about this. I just had the best sausage roll of my life. A bit dear, but well worth it! I had the lamb and rosemary and I couldn’t fault it. The staff was also friendly and pleasant. Can’t wait to try their other goods!

Staff are great (especially the tall long haired dude), do try their New Yorker sandwich, I think it’s pretty tasty but I think the Pies and Sausage rolls aren’t great to be honest. The coffee is not bad and definitely value for money.
