Waited almost a 1/2 hour for two long black coffees to NOT turn up, watching those around us who ordered after be served their’s, before deciding to leave. As we left we let the ‘barista’ know to not bother making them, only to receive attitude about the fact that there were 13 orders in front of us. Find it difficult to believe as I doubt there were that many people in the venue. No sweetie the thing for you to do when someone tells you they have waited too long for a simple coffee is apologise not attack. This place is the pits. I don’t even want to rate them.
Went here for tea and cake to recover from the flower festival. Lovely ramge of tea. I had a pot of beautiful vanillla tea. Mum had the almond orange cake which she enjoyed but i wasnt keen on. Dad had a pecan pie which was ok, not particularly sweet though. Service was slow considering they only haf 2 other customers
New menu disappointing. Had lamb couscous but it was mutton. Couscous was like sawdust. And I sweet potato was crisp!Shocking meal to put it mildly.
Tasty food but the portion size is definitely too small for the price.
Beautiful fresh ingredients. Amazingly tender eye fillet that was cooked to perfection. Would have to say I don’t think I’ve ever had better. Friendly, attentive staff. All round top experience. 5 out of 5 in my book!
Agree with a previous reviewer. Great staff but food not up to standard of a ‘gold card’ restaurant.We went here because we had heard good things about it and was one of gold card entertainment book places. There was nothing wrong with the food, but would of not paid full price for it either.
