The poke bowl was nice however I thought the tuna could have been higher quality. Also thought the bowl needed a touch more sauce. The calamari were a little too heavy battered which made it hard to taste the actual calamari. The fish was cooked well, crunchy on the outside but still soft inside. All in all, higher than average but not amazing.
We stopped in for takeaway coffee at the coffee kiosk during the week during the off peak season. Service was kind but painfully slow. Basically serve one person, complete their order and take payment before acknowledging anyone else that’s queuing. They have a good sized restaurant behind the coffee cart that offers all day breakfast aswell as lunch and dinner and $1 oysters. They’re also kid friendly.Unfortunately the coffee was pretty average so i can’t recommend it 🙁
I shared a lamb shoulder with my father and it was huge and cooked to perfection no dried out portions. We shared tastefully and will be back, accompanied by an almond milk cappucino. Thanks Cafe Le Monde, you are the best!!!
The prawn linguine was delicious. Our friends had the salmon and the burger which they said was also good. Staff were friendly and meals arrived within a reasonable time.
My Key Three Pointers * Breaky is far better than dinner * Healthy and Not so healthy options available * Not so clean Not sure if the restaurants are over customers but service in Noosa is really crap and this place takes the cake for very bad. The people at the door in the morning and night come with loads of attitude, enough to make you want to leave but finding a place to eat with kids is hard. I have never seen such attitude, this is because they know people are desperate not because they offer fantastic food and service. I have avoided this place when I have previously travelled to Noosa as I was not there in peak season and not desperate to eat and drink here. The food was surprisingly not bad for breakfast and my dinner was Ok. I had the salmon for dinner and avocado and tomato breaky. My hubby hated his fish and chips and said he should have ordered just batter because the fish was missing. This is the sort of place if you can’t get a booking then you may as well just try your luck here. They are kid friendly and many other places are not. highly popular with families. Service is a zero and very rude management. They definitely make you feel like we will take your money but you do what we say. I found the restaurant dirty. Time to change your cutlery or get a new dishwasher because if I have to use my children’s Wet wipes then it’s pretty bad. Cups smell eggy and the toilets are worse than public toilets. I understand the high volume of customers but if people are walking out and holding the doors with toilet paper then it’s time to get some bleach and start scrubbing.
