Add a great setting, and really interesting and tasty food and you have a winner. Breakfast lunch or dinner, we found plenty to enjoy (we were back several times) A small but well thought out menu, with great options and enough creativity to keep you coming. Very friendly service. Loved the setting amongst the gardens. If I could pick it up and bring it back to Melbourne I would be thrilled.

Went twice, first time wasn’t too bad as there weren’t as many people at 10.30am on NYE day. Ordered chai latte and sat inside so quite secluded. So decided to go second time to try latte and sit down for a meal. Ordered croissant with jam and butter, however took ages for croissant to arrive by itself, and croissant was cold when jam finally arrived. I was told they don’t have any butter at that moment. I found that strange as it was stated on the menu as croissant with jam and butter and I paid for that, plus what cafe wouldn’t have butter? I felt ripped off even though it was just missing the damn butter. My partner’s flat white took ages to arrive as well ($4.50 for regular flat white). The cafe look secluded but there can be many dogs at a time and the dog owner seems to think everyone loves dogs and left their dog goes around sniffing other people.

No food left by the time we got there, 3pm. The water station was in full sunlight and as a result the bottles were hot, and the water that came out of the tap was scalding and undrinkable. Unfriendly service.

A friendly, relaxed atmosphere for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Quality coffee, perfect every time. Have been for dinner many times and have never been disappointed. Absolutely love their night setting, alfresco dining at its finest.
