Slow cooked steaks NOT available for lunch at Hoggs Breath Noosa. We have been going to Hoggs breath as a birthday treat for many years just to have a slow cooked steak.We went last week and were told the slow cooked steaks aren’t available at lunch. What? Slow cooked steaks are the signature dish. Unfortunately I ordered a hickory steak. I was told it would be tender and juicy, which it was. However, it was much thinner than a normal steak and had been well hammered. The flavour? No idea because the steak was hidden from view by a thick, sickly ‘hickory’ sauce which covered 1/3rd of my plate and I had to scrape off. By the time I removed the sauce, the steak was almost cold. Disgusting.The meal cost the same as a real ‘slow cooked’ steak. Pubs serve better steaks for much less.There were only two tables of customers at 12.30pm but we still had to wait 5 to 10 minutes to be seated.The round outside tables are so wobbly that diners have to prop them up with their feet.I have contacted Hoggs Breath HQ with an official complaint but they haven’t bothered to reply.Sorry Hoggs Breath Noosa. So rude & so dissapointed
My friend and I went there for lunch around 12, ended up standing outside for 5 minutes while we weren’t served. Left, came back at 2, waitress took our order, took 40 minutes to come out despite there only being about two other couples in the restaurant, and when it came out it was the wrong item. While we were only halfway through our meal the waitress brought the cheque out to us and said ill just leave that there for you. Seriously won’t be back. Bad service, no apology for sending us the wrong meal. Awful place.
