Beautiful setting on Hastings street with lots of outdoor, covered seating and also tables on the street. We went at night and the place was beautifully lit with candles and fairy lights. They had live music which was in French and Italian so we couldn’t understand the words but it really gave the place an authentic European vibe.Lovely cocktails and a solid Italian menu. We ordered a round of oysters both kilpatrick and natural – big meaty Coffin Bay oysters, delightfully fresh – highly recommended. We shared the seafood spaghetti which was definitely large enough for the two of us. A good amount of well cooked seafood, nice al dente pasta and the right amount of sauce. We also shared the lemon tart which was delicious and came with a beautiful fresh vanilla whipped cream. The prices are on the high end which reflect its main street location in a tourist town, but I’d say they were in line with the other restaurants in the area.Service was friendly but on the laid back side. We would go back again and I’d recommend making a booking during peak season.
Wonderful venue right at the centre of Noosa. Friendly staff who were very accommodating. They seated us at a table that we preferred. The food was just delicious and hit the spot after a day at the beach. The drinks list and menu is extensive with something to suit anyone.
We ordered the seafood linguini and the eye fillet steak. Linguini was ok, with a good amount of seafood and perfectly cooked large potions of calamari. Steak ordered “medium rare” but came out “well done” and sent back. Once it arrived as ordered was really good. Service was friendly and laid back. As with many of the restaurants on Hastings St. the food pricing reflects that it’s a resort town with Rococo being no exception and at the richer end of pricing and staff like most of the establishments on the strip are often backpackers.
