Daggy daggy decor. Felt like I was inside a fridge – all white & boring. It’s honestly like its a total afterthought & has no love & no pride in the space. For a wine bar there is no character- ordered billy cart salmon. Waiter was charming. The only positive I could find.
Hastings Street Sanctuary. Rumba is an escape for anyone wanting a quiet, beautifully air-conditioned and comfortable Wine Bar. Choose from seating at the bar or big comfy leather couches. Rumba’s menu comes straight from Sails kitchen although the daily wine specials feature more visually than the food menu. We visited later in the evening just wanting some shared plates & wine. Rumba is small enough that you can meet new friends sitting at the bar and big enough to sit in the corner having a chat amongst friends.
