My husband and I were robbed of what could have been a fabulous last night in Noosa owing to the awful food served up at Sails. Frozen fish, old seafood, enormous potatoes half cooked pretending to be chips and lame service by supercilious, arrogant staff. Worst of all, it cost us $176 for two entree two main two drinks. $80 per head for absolute rubbish. The same price we paid for a stunning lunch at Locale, the Italian restaurant down the road the previous day. Sails is dressed up to appear like a fine dining restaurant when in actual fact it is clear that the kitchen have no idea what they are doing and the management are clearly not into food or dining – just daylight robbery. As people interested in food we actually feel ashamed and embarrassed that we went to this place. People need to know not to go to this place.Sails will sail on past any taste buds you have but you will be stung with an exorbitant price.
