This restaurant is always busy, and the reason is obvious. Great meals, great variety, and good specials. This restaurant caters well for people with food allergies, we have a celiac in our family and he always has a great feed here (he often orders the GF pasta). Prices are reasonable and a good variety of beers on tap.
On holidays in Noosaville and the resort manager where we are staying recommended this RSL for a reasonably priced tasty meal. So off we went to to check it out only to find out Wednesdays special is Chicken Parmas for $13.90 ($12.90 for members).Arrived at 6.30pm and the place was super busy! Waited a couple of minutes to be allocated a table and waited in the queue to order our parma of choice.There was also a meat raffle on, so decided to splash out and buy $10 dollars worth of tickets to support the club.We did have a bit of a wait for our meals but was interested watching a magician go from table to table doing magic tricks!At 7pm they started calling the meat raffle, and low and behold I win not one but two prizes!! The best $10 I ever spent. A tray of rump steaks and a $20 voucher to spend in the RSL!Our meals finally arrived, and my parma was so tasty and the chips so hot & crispy and salad looked and tasted so fresh.For a RSL the food was simple and tasty, staff friendly and smiling.We will be going back for lunch to spend the $20 voucher!What a great way to start a holiday!!
My favourite RSL on the Sunshine Coast! Great tasting salad option and veg stack. The basic pub food others had was also good. Friendly staff and spacious dining area. We had a view of the river in the distance that was nice. Small township or marina area worth a short walk too.
Visited it a couple of times for a quick and value-for-money dinner with my wife and child. Roast of the day is a great tasty bargain (although wife got quite a few offcuts of meat on second visit), German goulash and crispy salmon were also a success.
Faulty towers!. Don’t go the courtesy bus – to wait 30 mins and no show or call is no courtesy. Then manager and driver to say bad luck! Then meals are over 1 hour wait and average. Terrible outback backward service. Shame on rsl! Get a decent manager!
