Best fish and chips in Coorparoo/Norman Park. Well priced, great service, best food. Cant ask for anything more. Phone orders are welcome and never more than a 15 minute wait
Getting a bit cheap with chips lately. Everything else is what we need from a local fish and chip shop.. We usually go out of our way to buy our fish and chips from here
Our Regular. Every Friday night we order from here (crumbed cod and chips). We ring our order through beforehand and Andy or Jordan will have it ready when we get there. Took them a while to get into their rhythm when they first took over, but they’ve got it all down pat now for some time! Good value for good fair dinkum fish and chips. We won’t go anywhere else!
IT’S OUR LOCAL AND WE LOVE IT. We always find the service quick, the shop is nice and clean and the fish and chips are always great. This is always our pick of the bunch, just wish they were open on Mondays.
Variable, but usually good.. This place is an institution that has changed hands several times over the last few years. We usually get flake, as well as chips and potato scallops/cakes. The chips and scallops are always good, but the fish tends to very in quality from week to week.The place also varies from empty to full from day to day. Best way to eat there is to call up beforehand and place your order, then pick it up. Seating is very minimal, it’s pretty much designed to be a takeaway. There’s limited parking on Bennetts Road, as well as a small car park out the back.
Cod tasted VERY fishy, not like anything ive had before – quite unappetizing and had me wondering if it was infact cod. Very scanty with the lemon. Eftpos $10 minimum with a 20c surcharge for using it. Chips were good. Probably wont go back unless getting just chips.
Nice clean shop. Very good basic fish and chips and burgers. This is one of the last remaining fish and chip shops in the area, hope it continues for many years to come
