I had tried these guys once before (many years ago), and thought that the meat pie had a little bit too much cornflour for my liking.I decided to give them another go, and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food.The bread was actually very good, along with the cream bun and the vanilla slice, however the meat pie and a sausage roll were absolutely disgusting.I had the steak bacon and cheese pie, and a small sausage roll, and the pie was more cornflour than anything else.You’d think if it was a steak bacon and cheese pie that at least be some steak in there, but there were only 3-4 pieces of chunky steak you couldn’t even see any bacon in there, and the cheese was just cooked on top of the pastry – the rest was just cornflour.And don’t get me started on the sausage roll – the pastry was so old that it just fell apart in the bag – and when I ate it, the meat inside was so dry, and it actually tasted like it was turning.I would go there again for the other products but I would never buy another pie, or another sausage roll from there because I felt so sick after eating them.
