Last night was my second time there. Last time was excellent which is why we decided to return.The service was great but unfortunately the food let them down. I ordered the Balinese Chicken Breast. It was so dry that it was practically inedible. It came with Bok Choi and rice. The rice was crumbly and over cooked as was the veg ( one sad lonely bit of mushy Bok Choi). It was also cold and there was no sauce at all with it. If it hadnt been for the salt and pepper on the table it would have been inedible. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong thing because everyone else at my table was very happy with their meal.
Ive been to this restaurant a few times now and it has been consistently average (about a 3). Everything was fine. Food fine, service is fine etc. Today wasnt fine. After our food orders were made, we were completely ignored by our waitress. No water refills, no asking whether we needed more drinks, no clearing the table, no offer of dessert, no offer for coffee/tea etc. I was ready to purchase more and so were the other people at the table, but we didnt end up getting anything more. As it is a big place and we were towards the back, getting attention is quite awkward. If it was busy, Id be a lot more understanding…but it wasnt at all.
