This is my favourite place in North Lakes, without doubt. I’m very surprised by the lack of reviews as I’ve never heard a bad thing about the breakfast, coffee or variety of options. The only reason I haven’t written a review earlier is because I don’t want Blaktan to become too popular!The staff deserve absolutely rave reviews, and I simply cannot fault them on any occasion.
The ambience in this restaurant was good. We had raisin toast which was served with mascarpone and honey on the side. Also tried the Belt without the egg Both were done well. The caramel iced latte and orange juice were also good. Quick and friendly service.
Went here for a quick dinner with my partner for her birthday as she had work the next day and we didnt feel like venturing too far from home. I tell you what. We were amazed that there can be food his good in north lakes. The scallops and the salmon both absolute winners. We were both impressed and will be back to try more.
