One of Mackay’s Finest. I finally got to dine at Church on Palmer tonight (after moving to the Mackay region 2 years ago) and I’m already keen to go back again! I had the crab and tiger prawn, crème fraiche stack for entrée and eye fillet with scallops and tiger prawns for main. Both courses were fabulous and I could not fault the food. I also could not fit in dessert as the portions were quite large, so next time I’ll go for a main and dessert. The service was professional and the atmosphere was very inviting. The church is lovely inside and I’m sure sitting outside would be nice too. The ladies’ toilets could use a makeover, but now I’m nitpicking! Truly I can’t wait to dine at Church on Palmer again in the new year 🙂
Great atmosphere and food. This place is worth a visit. Had a great meal tonight, deep fried Camembert, followed by a beautiful lamb dish. Decor is great, very real and very comfortable.
