Visited this place on a weekend when basically every other place was shut for Easter. This is a local joint that is mostly known for the fish and chips. They have a huge spread on the menu and the food is worth every penny.I ordered the fish and chips with tartare sauce. The fish served was Cod and was battered to my liking. I would recommend this place for people travelling to the famous Tamborine National park.
Best fish on the mountain, delicious fresh food and friendly staff. Great for takeaway and eating in, this restaurant adds a character to your meal with pictures of gangsters and bikies lining the walls, it really is the ‘Codfather’.
First time to mount Tambourine, was suggested to try this little fish and chip shop by my co-worker as we were supporting a couple of guys with disabilities. Wow. What can I say , the service was great as soon as we walked in. A few things were not available as it had been a day or two after new years and local suppliers were not yet supplying produce as yet. But none the less, 3 out of four of us ordered crumbed Cod with chips. The other just ordered chips. Everyone was impressed with the food and service.The pieces were thick, tasty and cooked absolutely perfectly. Had to compliment the cook.I will be back. Thanks very much. SARDS
Delicious fish, calamari & chips!We stopped for lunch at this unassuming little takeaway and we were pleasantly surprised. Delicious fresh cod, tender calamari, great chips and fantastic salad. The service was super friendly and the prices extremely reasonable! This is highly recommended!!
We came up to Mt Tamborine over the weekend just for a relaxing holiday and stumbled on this place in the midst of going home. For 28.80, you get a whole bunch of stuffs and it is so valued for money! The cod was fresh and the calamari was my favourite. The service is amazing and staffs were friendly. Would definitely recommend!
