Unfortunately, I had a really poor experience coming here for my Hen’s Party.My maid of honour had booked in the day a couple of months in advance, but when we arrived on the day, we saw a sign that said the venue was closed for a private function (which turned out to be someone’s wedding!)We still walked in and our booking was still valid and they had the table prepare for our high tea, but we were informed that we had to be out within 2 hours and had to try to remain quiet, as the ceremony was about to start right beside the area where we were to be having high tea.Throughout our high tea, there were wedding guests coming in and walking past looking at us wondering why we were there. It was incredibly awkward, and quite rude that we kept getting told to be quiet. They really should have been better organised and informed us of this before the day, and we would have made other arrangements. The staff seemed really disorganised and they just didn’t even care that their lack of planning had ruined my Hen’s Party. After 1.5 hours, we were pretty much shoved out the door, as they started packing up our half-finished food and tea.The presentation of the high tea looked nice, but that was as far as it went. The cakes were sickly sweet, not balanced at all, and we didn’t even finish it. It was incredibly disappointing, and I would not return.

Not great. Attended for a special family Occassion for high tea. They were unable to properly cater in a high tea environment for special dietary requirements. We had pre-booked and were advised the dietary needs could be catered for but it was not so.It was overwhelmingly expensive for what we got.
