This place is amazing for its location along the strand, great view of the water and the beach if you’re having a beer or margarita or just chillin out at the deck. It can get a little busy on a week night so ordering food can take a while. Buffalo chicken wings were highly recommended by a friend and they did not disappoint, it was juicy and tender and not super spicy. Southern Fried Chicken burger was really good too and I did try their Adobo Grilled chicken it was quite spicy! The bartender who served us was really good and friendly so we’ll definitely come back here.

My boyfriend and I went here following our 2 week long tour around the top eastern corner of Australia. Whilst we had chosen to cook for ourselves mostly, we were tempted on our last night by the Longboards location. But whilst the location is beautiful, the food was not. We were extremely disappointed by the quality of both our meals. We ordered the beef ribs and the chicken burger. The ribs were over cooked and were just too stringy to eat, whilst the burger was smothered in the BBQ sauce to the point that you couldn’t taste anything: this wouldn’t have been a massive loss if it weren’t for the fact the BBQ sauce was not nice, had a strong vinegary taste that was super unpleasant. And left me unable to continue the night due to feeling very ill. Very disappointing would not recommend for a meal, but a potentially nice location for a few drinks with mates.

Beautiful view though no real ambience, staff service was quite basic, they weren’t friendly / helpful nor were t they unfriendly / unhelpful.. They were just there….. The food we ordered, the diablo burger ($16) and enchilada, well quite bland apart from the sriracha mayo which was quite overpowering. No sides offered with the main (salad, veges, chips) this is an added extra.Overall not a great dining experience, and will probably not recommend eating here to friends and family

Saturday afternoon and a few beers and chicken wings at longboard.. All in all pretty good – service was quick and staff super.. A great spot to kick back

Have been craving these wings for months and once again I was defeated by the 1kg serve. Friendly staff, reasonable price, didn’t have to wait long for food to come out. Just great!!

This place has a nice view of the water along the strand in townsville. This place was quite busy with people and a nice day to be sitting out on the deck. Ordered the hot buffalo chicken avocado wrap and fries. The buffalo chicken had a nice kick to it and had it minus pineapple as in not a big fan of having pineapple savoury food, tasted just as good without it. The fries was a bit small portion but there was an option of a bucket of fries which seemed like to much. The wrap definitely had me licking my lips for more of the sauce, quite filling

The view can’t get better. You sit there beside the ocean, they have beer on tap from selected brands and the food (some of them) are great. We had the finger licking chicken and it was a real quality food for the price. It was a reasonable size grilled chicken breast with avo and herbs on a tasty bread sandwiched. The crumbled fish wasn’t the size I was expecting it to be and it was 4 pieces of small bites with very nice fires. Overall we were very happy.
