Walked in with a group of 16 for drinks. Plenty of spare tables here and there but we were told we couldn’t stand around because we would be crowding other tables. This is after we spent $300 on the bar. Staff did not try to accomodate us at all. Will not be returning.

Just after landing to Townsville we were looking for a place to have lunch before leaving for magnetic Island. The restaurant is very well located just in the front of the Ocean. So the view is very nice. I have been a bit disappointed to not een found one healthy meal, I am not difficult, and just a salad or some veggies would have been fine. But you only get the possibility to eat, burger, and pizzas So I decided to take the special sandwich with Tiger prawns thinking it will be not to heavy to digest before the boat cruise. But it was a mistake the bread was covered of sauce. I mean it was good but a bit too much fatty and the bread was not really a French type baguette as mentioned into the name of the dish. The guys took the burgers and they were pretty satisfied with them. And another friend took the Fried tofu, which was good too but he would have like not eating fried food too.

Dont trust the nachos- it might seem as a good idea but I doubt the guys from this place have ever seen a decent portion of nachos- otherwise they wouldnt be selling what they currently are. The fish and chips was of a very suspicious quality too and very grassy and oily. The location is great, the view is wonderful. Its nice to get a beer on the terrace and have the sea breeze- if you just go for a drink its a great place to be. Food wise.. Weve seen much better.
