1 star rating is too generous.Simply avoid this restaurant! There are plenty of alternatives around.Came in for lunch and when asked us for a glass of ice for water on 35 degree day, owner or manager refused to do so because ice costs us money and we only offer it with drinks!! We were 2 people about to order our food and drinks and based on their menu we wouldve walked away with $100 bill at least but owner would rather having us leaving and losing business. Invest in ice machine if you decide to run a restaurant with bar too !! Bad customer service and business management skills!
Great meal on a Saturday night. Glad the other places were full because the food was great. Generous meals, friendly service- quite end of the strand made for a nice family night out. Would definitely return.

Excellent service, great breakfast!
Had lunch here, the food was excellent and the wait staff were very atentive and lively, overall very enjoyable.
Ordered for two. Bircher muesli with berry compote with Greek yoghurt (too little and runny), served with decent sized almonds and shaved coconut, English breakfast tea (came out last), a breakfast special of scrambled eggs, two peppered sausages, smashed avo and sourdough toast.Boost cleanser drink ($8.50) but large.Service was on the more friendlier side in Townsville. All was higher priced but quality.Scrambled eggs were slightly over cooked but otherwise we were happy with the experience. My partner and I were both full for sometime after these dishes even after a castle hill walk, so IMO this is a good sign!
