Billy Baxter’s is a tiny place with giant attitude (for the right reasons, not wrong!) With bags – and beans – of character, from the snazzy logo to the humour on the walls, it sets a good first impression.The staff are warming and approachable, and the coffee looks and tastes great. Veto coffee are the beans used, and they make for a great drink. As much as I enjoy Zaraffa’s, I rarely make it there as Billy Baxter’s tempts me instead…In terms of breakfast options, the quickly served classic Brekkie option – great as a Veggie option with or without bacon and sausage – satisfies. The scrambled eggs are very nice, as with the avocado, bacon, and mushrooms.Of whats left, the toast is straightforward, the grilled tomato a little plain and the mushrooms could be bigger. A good effort, (and have had ordered several times before) but there are better brekkie’s out there – nothing a few small changes couldn’t put right!

There are a range of specials and meals.
