The staff and owner of ciao gelato are so nice and friendly and most importantly the gelato is the best gelato/ice cream I have ever had and I have tried a lot of places in Brisbane.The vegan flavours are amazing (and I’m not even vegan) you would never know the difference. They are also so generous with tastings. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for ice cream!
I recently had family visiting from interstate and decided to take them to Ciao Gelato after hearing numerous positive reviews. My father ordered the coconut sorbet which he said was delicious while my brother-in-law thoroughly enjoyed his scoops of mint and boost. Finally, my sister and I ordered four flavours – raspberry, choc cookie dough, toasted marshmallow and toasted coconut. I informed the staff of my nut allergy and they sanitised the utensils and checked the flavours I picked against an ingredients list. There is limited seating inside so we decided to takeaway and the container provided kept the gelato sufficiently cold. The ice cream was tasty and I would recommend this place for quality, no-nonsense gelato.
