We went there yesterday for dinner and reached around 8.15 and I believe the restaurant closes at 9.30pm. I ordered masala dosa and was outright told cant be done. Then I asked for Pav bhaji and it was agreed to with half heart only to realize it was cooked from a frozen box of prepared mix and it was served with just one pav thrown in there. My husband ordered a non veg thali and asked for side of bread to the waitress. The owner yelled at her who is asking for bread and we were right there, needless to mention those bread too tasted horrible with the curries my husband was having. They tasted bitter. I ordered a veg momos too and the filling tasted bitter and cooked possibly in a oil that has been burnt. I am 7 weeks pregnant and couldnt take chance with all the food was on our table so I left everything. In between we could hear the owner arguing with his staff constantly so it was very unpleasant. The owner didnt seem to care about customers at all. When we stepped up to pay he saw we left food on table and had the audacity to ask if we only came to taste and if were planning to open a restaurant never bothered to check if the food was ok for us or not. Never ever going again, this was first and last time.
Food is delicious and well priced. The naan bread is made to order fresh, the curries are in a hot case but still quite fresh also. Meal for 2 is only $26 and it would easily feed 3 people. The staff are very friendly. Great place for a cheap dinner.
