Menu selection and food quality has deteriorated the past year or two, since the menu was changed – it might have had a management change. Great kids’ area and activities but food has been unsatisfying the past few times so we won’t bother going now. Also expensive.
Food quality 7/10, kids meals good value, steaks a bit on the expensive side. Noisy and informal, but kids play area great for young families. Mixed luck with service, food side friendly, bar side not so good.

Bar. Your bar staff are the worst I have come across in years. Harley should be taught people skills and it is herjob to serve us. Been going to the tavern for years and you have got some wonderful staff but Harley Emma make you feel like you are putting them out if you ask them for a drink. They seem more interested in cleaning and doing other things then serving. This Tarern was one of the best i have been to but since this new manager has taken over it is getting worse every day.
I loved the calamari & chips. The calamari was golden and melt in your mouth and the chips were to my liking. Would recommend coming here to anyone. Staff were very good and service couldn’t fault them.
Worst Parma EVER!. We only just moved into the area and thought we would try the local pub, my wife had the seafood platter which was ok and I ordered the parma. I must say it was the smallest and worst parma I have ever eaten. Do yourself a favour, spend a little more and eat at one of the more prestigious places on the Gold Coast, fair to say I won’t be going back
