Last time I went the young blonde girl taking orders for meals was very rude and even obnoxious because I wasn’t familiar with the ordering process she got cranky at me. I let another staff member know her behaviour was unprofessional andctge experience left me not wanting to return with my family. Food was ok.
Not fine dining but food and service fantastic. Really friendly and caring staff. Great value for money. Somehow they get all meals out together no matter how many guests and even when ordered separately.
The food here isnt too bad considering its focus is more towards family dining.. Love the woodfried pizzas! The atmosphere isnt my cup of tea, kids running round everywhere and ‘adults’ fighting outside the front door.
Shearers Arms was once a family favourite and visits would be weekly. Great staff. Good pub atmosphere and kid friendly. Scores low as the quality of the food has declined noticeably.
