Low rating is solely for difference in price of dine in and take away, That would not be a problem as such if only it was transparent. They silently charge $4 more for a pizza. The dine in priceis not written on the menu or anywhere in the restaurant nor it was mentionedby the staff whenordered. To me it is ridiculous. We only noticed thedifference when we were paying our bill. Pizza was great though.

Food great. Lady waitress very nice, Italian man behind the counter very rude. We came in and he death stared us as if we dared to enter his restaurant. Felt very scared and intimated and just wanted to leave. A lady had a crying child and he kept commenting in Italian in obvious frustration. Vegetarian pizza was great but really need to improve customer service.

Can only make a comment on the small vegetarian pizza. Was OK, but nothing special, was a bit light on with the veges. I did not dine in was a take out

Flavoursome food, shame about the two hairs in the fettuccini – richly flavoured pastas would work well for a cold night with a wine. We had takeaway so hard to comment on the restaurant itself which seems unapologetically a take-away venue – felt without personality and smelt like cigarettes (suspect from the kitchen). Would go back, for the convenience and food, not the ambience.

Food is good, service is average, restaurant quality is average, and the overall experience was well below average. We ordered reasonably expensive meals $20 and $25 each, plus deserts, and my partner asked for extra vegetables. No extra cost was mentioned by the waitress for the extra vegetables. I overheard the waitress tell the chef about this request, and he was very unimpressed by this request. Eventually we got the side dish of vegetables – two small pieces of brocolli and and two of cauliflower. When I got the bill, I discovered they had charged me $8 for the small side dish of vegetables. Not very impressed. $5 might have been OK, if I was told about it at the time it was requested, but not $8 silently added onto the bill. I paid up and left. No point arguing with people with bad attitudes. I just won’t be giving them any more of my business. If you can put up with poor service the food might just be worth the trouble – the gelato was very good.

Never again. I have been a regular takeaway customer here since they opened. It’s been a while since we have eaten here as we have moved but I had a hankering for their pasta. Ordered take away. Told pick up would be in 20-25 minutes. I arrived and was told my order was still being prepared and asked to wait outside and it would be brought out. I waited. It was cold. I waited again. 45 minutes had elapsed and my death stare was finally noticed by the cook (I’m not good at confrontation) … I was handed my order that had been sitting on the counter awaiting collection getting cold. No appology.Pasta was over cooked. Amatricana sauce was sour, tasted processed, under cooked and had raw onion in it. The food and service tonight made me so angry. Your take away customers are your money earners Pelligrini – respect them.

Good but room to improve. Clean restaurant, friendly staff and seemingly fresh produce (except the ham.. Yuk!). I would go back for another pasta but I would definitely ask the chef to add seasoning to the dish. Very bland flavours. The cook wasn’t using gloves while kneading the dough for our pizza. I didn’t try any of our pizza because of this. If the restaurant owners read this, please have your staff wear gloves when handling food! Pretty nasty to think about all the bacteria trapped under the chefs nails being worked into my pizza dough 🙁
