My review is for coffee and cake only.We visited mid-week for coffee as we knew they had a good kids play area. Honestly, chuck some toys in a dedicated area of a cafe and you’ve already scored some points with me cause it just makes life so much easier and gives parents a chance at actually drinking a hot tea or coffee. This one is great and many of the toys are still in great condition which is always a bonus.Coffee itself was really nice, they use Toby’s Estate which is one of my favorites. We also shared a scone which was absolutely huge!! The scone was a touch doughy and the cream unnecessarily sweet but I loved the jam and overall it was tasty. The restaurant has great ambiance with gorgeous city views. I love the mismatched feel to the decor and staff were terrific. Very polite, apologetic for the wait on coffees due to a large group order just before we ordered when to be honest we’d not even noticed so they’re efficient too. There is only one bathroom and it gets very busy so there was often a long queue but I wouldn’t see this as a reason not to visit.Food looked and sounded great so I’d be keen to return and try out some menu items. lifelovetravelfood.wordpress.com

We chanced upon this cafe while exploring Paddington area and loved it. The coffee was superb and the food arrived in large portion. Our favourite for the day was the mushroom fry-up and even talking about it now, makes my mouth water. The smoked salmon Benny was typical but good. Somewhat disappointed with the soft shell crab Benedict because all the flavour was too soft/bland. Nothing was really a standout. The soft shell crab eaten by itself was pretty good, but with the rest of the dish, the flavour is waxh component just got lost. the quality of the food and coffee here is top class. And I would definitely be back for more. Not to mention, love the spacious room, the homey furnitures and the beautiful view in the back of the cafe. Staff was quite overwhelmed on a Sat morning, so we did have to wait for our coffee for quite sometime… after we finished our meal. But they did a great job and worth the wait.
