Great little local bakery, fresh baked good, and reasonable prices. The fresh asian pork rolls are bloody rockin, I usually buy one every Sunday. However, a few weeks back, I visited the bakery for a pork roll, and even though the pork roll station shuts (I have no idea why) at 2:30pm and it was 2:24, the women behind the counter would not serve me. If you say you’re serving pork rolls till 2:30, serve them till bloody 2:30, this was really disappointing, if the baked goods weren’t as good, I would not be back.

I was craving for something sweet when Inpassed by this store. 3.80$ for one custard almond pastry. The top of pastry was filled with sugar so it was too sweet for me. I think they put too much sugar on the top. But I really like the custard. Unlike the top part, the inside part of the pastry which was the custard, wasnt that sweet and its texture was thick and creamy. Still unable to give high rating since the top part disappointed me

I too was on my way to La Casamia to get another birthday cake from a friend who offered to purchase one for me & get a coffee. Sadly it was a Thursday & all the shutters were down & it was closed! Calamity -as I was so looking forward to that Baked Alaska too! Has been years since I have had this dessert & I actually thought it might have gone out of vogue. When I saw they had it on La Casamia menu I was literally drooling! We settled on going across the road to Francy’s & I had the apple danish but there was rather a lot of apple in it & the apple seemed under cooked. My friend enjoyed the cream doughnuts however

When our first option for dessert fell through, we crossed the road to Francy’s Patisserie.Joe Kand I enjoyed an Almond & Custard Danish and an Apple Danish. The fillings were more than generous, about twice as much apple as you would normally expect and 2-3 times as much custard as I would have wanted. After removing a bit of filling the danish were very nice, albeit a little too sweet for my taste.

It’s a typical bakery. What? You want me to review it? You want me to talk about their cream buns? Their half loaf? Na bro. They do have banh mi, just westernised. Get a coffee from another place.
