Simply a 5 because it is so hard to find good fish and chips in Brisbane. The presentation of the shop leaves a lot left to be desired – but the fish and chips are spot on – excellent crispy batter, fresh fish with a good variety to choose from, great calamari and chips that crunch – wonderful.
I ordered from here a few nights back and found the service to be friendly and the food to be good.I ordered chips and potato scallops and the scallops appeared to be freshly made. The batter was quite thin and very crispy. The chips were cooked well, something that the previous owners seemed incapable of managing.At the end of the day it is what it is, a seafood takeaway. But the service is good and the product is good.I’ll be back.
