Night out whilst holidaying at Palm Beach, and chosen, in all honesty, because it was an easy stroll up the lane way.Offerings were a little odd – Parmesan crusted calamari with curry aioli? So settled on a steak. Easy I thought. I’m flexible I thought.The steak was cooked medium rare. But it was tough and difficult to cut through let alone chew. The vegetables were undercooked and had more than an al dente crunch. The baked baby potatoes were boiled and had briefly seen the inside of an oven but no crispness or flavour. The jus was watery and also lacking flavour. The staff were very reactive to feedback and more than happy to refund the cost of the meal. Home and eating toast.

We both had the children parmi special and while I wasn’t expecting anything amazing, it was only ok.Service was friendly but the dining room wasn’t very clean. Old food and used bandaids under our table weren’t so great to see. The lift access is very odd and not easy to use but I’m grateful they had one for our pram at least. It’s definitely popular so book if you want to guarantee yourself a table.It’s not awful but not great either. Just ok.
