Unfortunately the worst meal at our stay in Palm Cove. Food poisoning for me and my baby. I wish it would have been better, ambience looks good.
Superb location, service was attentive – although the remote control light for service is a bit tacky. The food was a let down- pasta sauce was sweet and most certainly was canned sauce. Considering there are much better options nearby – definitely wont be back.
Food was terrible service was really good and that was the only thing that was good. Seafood platter was way overpriced and had frozen scallops on it. Calamari was overcooked the fish was only a small serve which is terrible for the price you pay. I would recommend you walk straight passed this restaurant.
On holidays and took the family to Neptunes based on reviews. Well I wont do that again! Over priced and poor quality food. Seafood platter was a joke and the veal scallopini were full of grissle. Dont waste your money!
I have eaten at this restaurant a few times now and found the food to be lovely and the service good however I found it to be a little overpriced for what you get in parts of the menu.On one occasion I had the Caramelised Grilled Scallops as an entree and to only receive 3 scallops for $24 I thought it was a bit much, however the dish itself was delicious.On another I had Tiger Prawns with Coconut Curry Sauce and Moroccan Pilaf Rice I received 6 prawns for $36 definitely more reasonable and again very tasty.I have also had the Eye Fillet a few times which has always been cooked as ordered and delicious.My favourite dish so far has been the entree Pork Belly with a mixed spice rub on a rocket salad with chilli caramel dressing and a pineapple & apple slaw. It was so full of flavour and the pork belly was tender yet crispy. Make sure you save room for the delicious dessert on offer!
This place and Bella Baci next door are quite frankly the 2 worst places in Palm Cove!! These 2 restaurants that originate from the same kitchen are an abomination…… Save your money and walk past
If you’re feeling like oysters for the day or night, this place is the place to be! Succulent and juicy mouthful oysters with amazing view of the beach and comfy coaches to chill in.
