Poor and very slow service. Staff were disorganised and left us waiting for 30 minutes before advising that what we ordered was not available. It was early in the evening 6 pm. Young family of 4. We were also yet to receive our drinks, which they completely forgot about. We decided not to dine there and rather than apologise the waiter rudely advised he was busy and had large tables to serve.
Dined at Portobello with some relatives who coincidentally happened to be in Palm Cove Although it was a Sunday night this restaurant was busy and well patronised however they still managed to accommodated the four of us as walk in diners, we were warned that due to the rush that our orders may take a little while but this wasn’t noticeable.The four of us opted for some shared entrees, Bruschetta and a Tasting plateFollowed by a couple of Gourmet Pizzas ( and Portobello backed up my belief that less is more when it comes to Pizzas) and rounded off with some cannoli, everything ordered was as expected and thoroughly enjoyed, the drinks menu is spot on with basically everything you like to accompany Italian food, seating is mostly alfresco and terrace style and the wait staff very tip worthy. Found the evening to be great value with a surprisingly modest billWill dine here again before we head home

All meals were perfectly cooked, amazing taste and came out very quickly. Quite expensive, but it is a holiday town. aroundtheclockfoodie.com
