Only gave them a one because I can’t give them a zero. Got hubby to pick me up a couple of salmon avocado sushi rolls for lunch. When it came to paying, they charged him $36 !!! When he questioned why it cost so much (its normally $8), they said that’s how much they charge when they haven’t made any up and it has to be put together for just one person (this was on a Saturday and it was after 11am, mind you). An additional $24??? Total ripoff, and will never, ever buy from this place again.

Worst Imitation Japanese Restuarant. The Chef is Korean, has no idea of Japanese flavours. Sushi rice has no vinegar flavour. The Sukiyaki hot pot is not Sukiyaki. When I questioned the staff she said it was for Australian tongues as they do not know the real Sukiyaki flavour. It was not sukiyaki. If you were to name this dish it would be vegetable hotpot with Korean styled / flavoured beef. The soup was not Sukiyaki it had no flavour. Sukiyaki soup is a sweet flavour with soy sauce. The price was expensive $28.00 + $4.00 for a bowl of rice. Seriously if you want authentic Japanese cooking, then eat at a proper Japanese restaurant with real Japanese Chef’s. We were that disgusted we left our expensive order and went to a proper Japanese restaurant to fix our palate. I wish that Korean’s and Chinese stop trying to sell themselves as Japanese restaurant’s. They have no idea of real Japanese flavours, just they want to say they have a Japanese restaurant..Have you ever been to a Chinese Restaurant or Korean restaurant, where the Chef is Japanese? (No) because Australians go to Japanese Restaurants before Korean Restaurants. So the Koreans sell themselves as Japanese, because they know this. This was by far the worst restaurant, I have ever been to on the Gold Coast. I would like everybody on the Gold Coast to know this, as what an absolute waste of money.
