After the unforgettable lunch at the Nativo, we walked around in the Barrack. Then, I felt like to have a coffee hit, so went inside the Palace cinema for a flat white. Walked in and was directed to the cinema level for the order. When I walked up to that level, I could see there were already a few customers waiting for their orders. The I quickly approached the counter and ordered my small flat white. Well, even though there were two barista working on the orders (I think there were less then ten coffee orders), it took me at least ten minute waiting for the coffee. The only bonus is that I had extrafree 10 minutes movieinslow motions of how to make coffee behind the bar. Thanks to the baristas. Oh! I nearly forget about the coffee, it was good and I have no problem with the Lavazza but depends on the barista.

We love this Cinema. I came here for the first time a few years ago with my dad and loved it. Prices were very reasonable, it’s a huge cinema with lots of dining options downstairs. It’s a more sophisticated cinema than many others around. Parking was really easy and you can validate your parking ticket at the counter. I had such a great experience, I got a friend to come with me a few weeks later and had another fabulous time. There are cinemas far closer to us so we don’t come often but would if it was closer and we do still make he trip out once in a while. I would recommend to everyone

So I didn’t want to cook. It was never going to happen tonight. I made the executive decision to see Lalaland and I was pretty happy with the movie! Now the food and bev, well I ordered some penne pasta with some chilli flakes in it (it’s the top one on the menu, sorry I forgot it’s name) and I guess for a place that doesn’t have a kitchen then did o.k. It was reheated, a little hard in some pieces of pasta, but I really didn’t want to cook. I had the Totara Sauv Blanc (epic size of course) which was quite delish. Not a great night, but it’s healthier than popcorn and a frozen coke. Good movie, good wine, o.k. good but don’t expect anything great.
