We were very unhappy. The microwave was continuously being used. I’ve never eaten in a Thai restaurant for everything is microwaved. My dim sum was horrible. Two of them were literally still cold and two of them are hot. Everything was seasoned way to sweet. we have eaten at almost all the restaurants in Harvey bay having lived here a year.. this is the first time I can honestly say I’ve been very disappointed in my food. There is 6 tables of people. only one little old woman cooking. Made no sense..
Best, most authentic asian food in Hervey Bay. 3 of us dined at TopThai last night for the first time. Two of us are locals and the third a visitor from the big smoke.We ordered the mixed entree’s, as well as Chicken Pad Med Ma Moung, Pad Thai with added chicken and a beef Gang Massamun curry for mains with an added Thai Fried Rice to share. Each dish was fresh, authentic, hot and delicious.We followed up those with deserts of Deep Fried Ice cream and the mango Ice Cream with sticky Rice.This is the best asian food I have eaten during my time in Hervey Bay and we will certainly be going back again and again.
